The Ground Work Information Tab is used to track your daily transactions for the ground work you do to each of your farm(s) / field(s). This tab you can track the date the transaction was performed, how many acres were worked, what equipment (i.e. tractor, implement, sprayer, etc.) was used, what employee performed the transaction, the cost / acre, a total cost and any notes you would like to track for that specifc transaction.
The Miscellaneous Field Costs Tab gives you the ability to track the expenses that take place during the ground work "season". You can track the date of the expense, total cost, a description of the expense and any notes you want to have for the expense.
This screen can also be used to quickly find a transaction by year, by a specific date and / or a specific farm / field. The grid on this screen operates similar to an excel spreadsheet. You can use the ENTER key to go from cell to cell. A big bonus is it automatically saves your changes just by changing cells!
This screen allows you to keep your hands on the keyboard which elminates unecessary trips from keyboard to mouse. By keeping your hands on the keyboard speeds up the data entry and gets you to the recliner quicker! This is accomplished with short cut keys and using the ENTER key. A quick example is the F6 Key will copy the data directly above the active cell.
