Harvest Information
  • Elevator & Binning Tickets
  • Expenses during harvest

The Harvest Tickets Screen is used to enter in the tickets for a day of harvest.  You can enter them in one by one or if you have multiple tickets from the same farm / field for the day you can do that as well.  You can track track everything that is on a basic elevator ticket.  On this screen you can enter the ticket date, farm / field, commodity / crop, ticket number, gross weight, the tare, a net weight, net bushels are automatically calculated for you, pounds, test weight for the truck load, moisture level, what storage location it was stored, which grain truck hauled the load, the driver of the truck, if the driver was on or off during the weighing of the truck and finally if there was any dockage.

Have you ever had a year that you had to use elevators that you normally did not use and you almost forgot where the crop was stored?  Well with this application you will not have to worrry about that.  Not only can you specify where each truck load is stored but you can also add as many storage locations as needed in the Storage Locations Tab on this screen.  With in this tab you can add the storage location's address, contact information and what type of storage it is (i.e. Elevator, Terminal, etc.).

You can add in expenses for harvest tickets in the Miscellaneous Field Costs Tab.  Here you can enter in the basics of an expense that would pertain specifically to harvest tickets by date, the farm / field it occured on, a total cost for the expense, a description and add in notes about the expense.

These screens can also be used to quickly find a transaction by year, by a specific date and / or a specific farm / field.  The grid on these screens operate similar to an excel spreadsheet.  You can use the ENTER key to go from cell to cell.  A big bonus is it automatically saves your changes just by changing cells!

These screens allow you to keep your hands on the keyboard which elminates unecessary trips from keyboard to mouse.  By keeping your hands on the keyboard speeds up the data entry and gets you to the recliner quicker!  This is accomplished with short cut keys and using the ENTER key.  A quick example is the F6 Key will copy the data directly above the active cell.
